About FuSE

FuSE designs, manages, and executes electricity consumption data products for forward-thinking on- and off-road electric vehicle fleet operators. Our current markets are California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, Canada (federally), and soon many other state and province jurisdictions. Our customers are  operators of zero-emission trucks, buses, cars, vans, shuttles, cargo-handling equipment, refer units, vessels, ground support equipment, and other modes of transportation  located at airports, seaports, retailers, grocers, campuses, distribution facilities, municipalities, and more.

Our proprietary system—provided for free to customers—enables our clients to unlock an entirely new, substantial revenue stream from a previously obscure and administratively burdensome government programs, generally called Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) or Clean Fuel Programs (CFP's).

We’re a small, fast-moving startup working with a very large potential customer base and extremely limited competition. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with other management-level staff to help advance operational systems toward maximum accuracy and efficiency.

Work Arrangement

FuSE has a newly redesigned floor in downtown Sacramento’s Renaissance Tower, and our team members often come in to collaborate, or join in on team building events. We have a second office in Coquitlam, British Columbia. However, we encourage self-accountability and recognize the benefits of a flexible/hybrid work model after a successful onboarding period.

About FuSE:

We empower our clients with the data and insights they need to navigate clean fuel regulations efficiently and effectively.

Job Description:

We’re seeking a skilled and entrepreneurially minded Front-End Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the technologies used in our SaaS platform and be responsible for keeping our platform intuitive, responsive, and feature-rich by solving complex problems, squashing bugs, and implementing new functionality.

Key Technologies:

  • TypeScript
  • React
  • MobX (State Management)
  • Gromit (UI Components)
  • Apex Charts (Dashboard Charting)
  • Leaflet (Mapping)

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve front-end bugs and maintain a smooth user experience.
  • Implement new features and enhance existing ones.
  • Ensure the platform remains responsive, accessible, and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, customer success) to align development with client needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with the technologies listed above.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with teammates.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build, improve, and innovate.
